Snarl's flexible nature means it can be adapted for any format or style. Like the Latin alphabet, the information is carried in the general shapes and connections of lines; any size or style will convey the same message.
Additionally, Snarl is language and alphabet agnostic - any text can be encoded and transcripted with an encoding table for that character set. With the proper table, Snarl can even be used to transcribe IPA or another phonetic description scheme.
